The kids left a few wedges of pear on the counter. I knew I'd put them use come lunchtime. I pretty much built my idea for lunch around those meager leftovers. Silly or thrifty, I'll let you decide.

Watercress dressed with olive oil, salt & squeeze of lemon juice. Tossed with sautéed shiitakes, julienned Asian pear. Topped with heirloom tomatoes, fried egg & frico. So perfect, and hits the spot. #whatwouldjenniedo #injennieskitchen #findersfeast #nowaste
