Associate editor Ali Slagle found this spindly green -- wild garlic mustard -- at the greenmarket and (obviously) had to buy it. It tastes like garlic! The farmer suggested making pesto; what else?

Sautée with lemon, and toss with Farro, good Parmesan and Italian parsley! Serve nice big bowlfuls!

Sarsoon ka saag ... It's a combination of this, mustard, spinach and lamb quarters if you have some. With lots of ghee ofcourse !
