This is my first pet "starter". Up & running. She came into existence after approximately seven days and survived a weekend in the fridge while I was in Austin during Spring Break. After some flubs and tweaks, I think we're hitting our stride :)

Was up till midnight Friday and awoke 6am Saturday to do THREE loaves!?!?

The "mistake" dough (2 1/2 c. water instead of 1 1/2 c.) baked at midnight was the best loaf!?!? Baked it "early" (12 hour rise vs. 18 hour) because it was rising in a smaller bowl BUT was more in volume...trying to avoid a dough volcano mess...

Gave the mistake loaf away...eating the dud loaves myself; no pics!!! But taste good lol

Later this week, I shall return back to my experimenting...thinking I'll increase water amount and shorten the rise time...
