Breakfast this morning = caramelized French toast with mixed berry compote. Just soak a nice thick slice of French bread in a mixture of egg, milk, vanilla and cinnamon until it's soft. Heat a skillet and melt in some butter and brown sugar, then lay the bread on top of this and brown on all sides! For the compote, I just threw some berries in a saucepan with a bit of water and sugar and simmered until the fruit was broken down.
