Molasses oatmeal cookies with freshly made caramel sauce
1/2c brown sugar
1 tbsp molasses
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cornstarch
Combine wet ingredients and dry ingredients in separate bowls. Combine together and scoop into 8 cookies using and ice cream scoop. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Cool.

1 tbsp butter
Simmer water and sugar on high. Cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and add cream. Add butter when back on heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Drizzle the caramel over the oatmeal cookies and cool. Enjoy!
