Simple pleasures like this homemade Nutella (thanks to the wonderful book Home Baked by Yvette Van Boven): 1 c hazelnuts into a food processor. Grind until powdery. Add 5 tbsp cocoa powder (I used Valrhona), 3/4 c powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Turn the food processor back on and, while it's running, stream in 6 tbsp oil. Let blend until the lot forms a thick paste. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for about a year. #diynutella #nutella #breakfast #dessert
