My version of IPA Battered Fish & Chips from Food52 by tideandthyme. 1 cup flour, seasoned + 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, whisk to blend, add 1 cup IPA pale ale, let sit while you heat oil to 375 F. Cut halibut into 3" x 1 1/2" pieces, coat lightly with flour, dip in batter & fry in batches. Serve with abundant fresh lemon wedges.
