Mom's Garlic Potatoes. Cube enough potatoes to fill your baking dish and boil in garlic salted water until barely fork tender. Drain. Melt a stick of butter in your dish. Mix about half a bottle of the cheap powdered Kraft Parmesan in the green bottle (don't use nice Parmesan, it gets too oily and won't make the crust). Add many, many heaping tablespoons of minced garlic. Mix until it forms a nice paste. Add potatoes and mix. Sprinkle more Parmesan on top, then add salt to taste and dried parsley. Bake at whatever temperature your other food needs until browned. Usually I do 400 for 20 or 350 for 30. Broil another 5 minutes. #momtest
