Buttermilk pancakes with salted honey butter and caramelised nuts
Pour yourself a cup of coffee while you make your favorite buttermilk pancakes.
Cream softened unsalted butter, add honey, cream some more until fully combined. Sprinkle in a bit of sea salt to taste and mix a bit more.
Chop up some nuts and throw them into a pan on medium-high heat, along with some sugar and let everything heat up and caramelise. Add cinnamon and/or Maldon salt at the end for salty sweet spicy goodness (if desired).
Put everything together. Drown in maple syrup.
