Ridiculously lush Chicken Kiev: pound chicken breasts thin (used a coffee mug for this task), then halve. Top with chopped garlic and herbs (Basil, parsley, thyme, etc.), plus a soft tablespoon of butter mashed into an oval shape. Wrap chicken around goodies, flour lightly, brown bundles on all sides in a skillet. Deglaze the pan with white wine—cough, cough, dry rosé. Serve with rice and piles of char-roasted cabbage. Go to bed very early.
