Block of paneer chopped and cubed
Large bag of spinach
Tin of chick peas
One cup of red lentils ( washed)
Cumin teaspoon
Tumeric tsp
Black mustard seeds half tsp
Coriander tsp
Fresh coriander
1 lemon
Sugar tsp
3 green chillies
5 cloves garlic crushed
Thumb size piece ginger
1 large onion finely chopped
Fry onions garlic ginger chillies add spices and fry
Fry the cubed paneer separate
Add lentils and chick peas cover with enough water to cook lentils (about two large cups of water) low heat
When lentils are soft squeeze the juice of a lemon and add a teaspoon of sugar add spinach, fried paneer and fresh coriander
