Momofuku Milk Bar Birthday Cake
Combine dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt and sprinkles. Set aside.
Combine buttermilk, oil and vanilla. Set aside.
With an electric mixer beat: sugars (white and brown), shortening, and butter until light and fluffy.
Add eggs until almost doubled in volume.
Add dry ingredients.
Scrape batter into a baking sheet and sprinkle with sprinkles on top.
Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
Combine flour, sugars, sprinkles, baking powder, and salt.
Add oil and vanilla.
It should be like a crumble. Put on a baking sheet breaking it down like clusters and bake 10 min aprox.
With an electric mixer combine butter, shortening, and cream cheese.
Add corn syrup and vanilla.
Add powdered sugar, baking powder, salt and a few drops of lemon juice.
Use a cake ring to punch out 3 6" rounds of cake.
Place 1 cake round as The base.
Make a mixture of milk and vanilla and moisten The cake.
Put a little bit of The frosting on the cake, then crumbs, then frosting again.
Repeat The process with The other cake rounds.
Put in feeezer to settle at least 3 hours.
Remover cake ring and sprinkle crumbs on top.
