White bread gets such a bad rap these days but I can't imagine life without a good Pullman loaf or a crusty French baguette. None of that rustic stuff for these loaves. Pullman bread is named after the pan in which the bread is baked. I often times bake oatmeal bread in the same pan because I want the square shape the lid creates. This loaf of bread is made with bread flour, vital wheat gluten, diastatic malt powder, and citric acid. The last two ingredients will help with shelf life. (Sometimes I bake an extra loaf, let it cool, then break it into pieces and let it stale. It makes for the best bread crumbs. #bread #baking #sundaybaking #sandwichlove

Sometimes I like the simplicity of a nice square slice. It will go great with some homemade egg salad.
