My first independent recipe- Garam masala peanut butter #cookies. In a medium bowl combine 1 cup cornmeal, 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder and 1 1/2 tablespoons of Garam masala. In a large bowl cream together 1 cup chunky peanut butter, 1/2 cup honey and 1/4 tsp chipotle chile in adobo sauce. Add one egg and 1 tsp vanilla to the pb mixture, mixing well. Add the dry ingredients to the wet- the dough will be thick. Form tablespoon-sized balls and roll in sugar. Place cookies on an ungreased baking sheet and flatten using a fork to create a pattern. Bake at 325 for 10-12 min. Cool on the baking sheet for 7-10 min before removing to a wire rack. #glutenfree #peanutbutter
