Gooey raspberry crumble bars! Boyfriends love these...hint hint
2 sticks of butter, softened
2 1/4 cups of flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup of rolled oats(I use Quaker)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 cup raspberry preserves
Instructions: preheat oven to 350
-butter or spray 8 inch pan with non stick spray( Pam)
-add flour, both sugars, oats and salt in a large bowl
-combine
-add egg and butter into same bowl and use fork to mix until crumbly
- keep 2 cups of crumb mixture to the side
- press remaining crumb mixture into the bottom of the pan, using your fingers to press so it will form a crust
- bake for 15 minutes
- remove from oven and top with raspberry preserves, evenly
-crumble the rest of the crumb mixture over the preserves
- bake until lightly browned, about 30 minutes (watch it because every oven is different)
- let cool before cutting and serving
