Butter-braised baby turnips with turnip green-pecan gremolata. I have never been so excited by turnips in my life!
To make gremolata, mix 1/2 cup finely chopped turnip greens with 3/4 finely chopped pecans, zest from 1 lemon, 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and lemon juice to taste.
To butter braise the turnips, heat cast iron skillet over high heat and add a stick of butter. Once melted, add baby turnips (chopped into 1-inch pieces). Stir occasionally and cook until tender and golden, about 7 to 9 minutes. Remove from heat and serve with gremolata.
