Crusty, soft bread to start Saturday off right! The #notarecipe starts with 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water, 1/2 tsp dry yeast, 2 tsp kosher salt, and 3 cups AP flour. No proofing, no punching down. And it's a great starter to add flavors - here, I added everything bagel spice. Garlic and rosemary is also good!
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise overnight (at least 8 hours). Bake in a Dutch oven, covered, in a 450F degree oven for 30 minutes, and then another 5-15 minutes uncovered until it's as golden as you want.
