Cara-Cara Sangria Oranges! ???
Delicious, cooling, boozy treat! Perfect for a hot Cali afternoon!
Marinate cubed oranges (I used the Cara-Cara variety- so sweet and juicy!) in red table wine. Any will due- my wine has sat already for a week or two, had to drink it or cook with it so this #notrecipe was created. Anyway! Let oranges marinate in wine, in the refrigerator for an hour or two, dress with a little lavender buds and salt (I used Hepp's Vanilla Salt) and serve! Garnish with excess wine and orange peel or zest orange peel for different looks and flavors. White wine would work too!
