Let boneless chicken breasts/thighs brine in 3/4 cup of your favorite pickle juice for at least 30 minutes but no longer than a few hours.
Drain pickle juice, dry pieces of chicken.
Dredge in buttermilk and a self rising flour. Frying temp will depending on thickness of your chicken.
The bun is a simple fry bread made from flour, baking powder, salt, and steaming water.
