The Smitten Kitchen's summer strawberry cake, with 1 heaping pound of market strawbs. BUT instead of 1 cup milk, this was made with 1/2 cup kefir and 1/2 cup whey. Just goes to show that dairy substitutes are possible when the flavor (tang or mildness) is accounted for and when viscosity (thick, thin, creamy, lumpy) is consistent!
