Lunchtime mushroom tacos for family and friends:
- sautéed ali'i mushrooms with onion, oregano, cumin, coriander, and homemade red wine vinegar
- thick slices of avocado or guacamole (avocado, lime zest, lime, salt, pepper, minced onion)
- papaya-tomato salsa (papaya, tomato, lime, cilantro, minced onion)
- shredded cheddar cheese, shredded cabbage, wedges of lime, minced onion
If it's fresh (except for the mushrooms), it came from my parents' tropical garden or their neighbors.
