After a hot morning gardening I said to heck with lunch and made Amanda Hesser's Strawberry Ice with Condensed Milk and Whipped Cream. Super easy, just tossed a bag of frozen strawberries, 3 tablespoons of honey and squeezed 1/2 a lemon. Puréed until smooth and filled a pretty wine glass with the strawberries and drizzled 2 tablespoons of condensed milk over the top. Topped with a dollop of whip cream. Now I'm imagining the variations with other fruit!!
