Editor Sarah Jampel's been experimenting with cooking pasta in non-water liquids via the absorption method. Here, it's 8 ounces of pasta cooked in 2 cups of vegetable broth and 1 cup of whole milk. The pasta absorbs alter liquid and the starches make a creamy sauce! Stir in some Parmesan at the end and garnish with parsley. More to come on Food52 soon!
