Shrimp and fresh corn grits (adapted from a terrific Bon Appetit recipe by Dawn Perry. Shrimp sautéed with oregano, garlic, paprika, cayenne, and corn shaved off the cob. White grits made with a mix of whole milk, chicken broth, and water and simmered until tender. Added butter, grated corn, sharp cheddar, salt, and pepper to grits and topped the whole thing off with fresh chives. One of my favorite recipes of all time!
