Cherry clafoutis! Stem and pit a generous pound of cherries and put in single layer of baking dish. Blend together 1/2 a cup of flour, 1/2 a cup of sugar, 1 and 1/3 cup milk, a tsp of vanilla, 3 eggs, and a pinch of salt. Pour over cherries. Scatter some sliced almonds and turbinado sugar over the top if you want. Bake at 375 for 45-60 minutes, or until middle is set. Eat warm or cold, or somewhere in between.
