Sweet Onion Mustard

Such a simple, easy takes literally minutes, but packs a powerful flavor punch. Great on brats, burgers, turkey sandwiches, and with soft pretzels (check out my next post for a recipe for those). This makes about 1 pint and it will last, sealed, in the fridge for about 2 months. Enjoy!


About 2 tablespoons olive oil
1 yellow onion, diced
Kosher salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup Dijon mustard

Sauté onions in olive oil until soft. Sprinkle with salt. Add onions, mustard, and sugar to a food processor and blend until smooth. Add more salt, to taste, if necessary.
