Mascarpone ice cream with Kahlua fudge and dulce de leche swirls easy custard 5 egg yolks, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 c heavy cream, 1 1/2 c milk,7 oz mascarpone, vanilla, for fudge swirl 4 oz dark chocolate, 4 oz cream, 2 tbs kahlua, 1 tbs corn syrup, dulce de leche
Whip egg yolks with sugar, heat cream/milk to scalding, temper egg yolks and add it to the pot cook on medium heat until the custard coats the back of a wooden spoon and you can draw a line with your finger and it stays intact. Remove from heat whip in mascarpone and vanilla refrigerate overnight. Process ice cream make the swirl, heat cream in microwave until scalding about 45 seconds add chocolate let sit 5 min then stir til smooth add Kahlua and corn syrup and alternately swirl chocolate and dulce in ice cream. Freeze til ready to serve
