Savory summer bread pudding. I sautéd chorizo, shallots, garlic, and red pepper flakes, then added kale and tomatoes. I tossed in some leftover barley too. Then I mixed in a blend of chicken stock, egg, salt, black pepper, Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, and chives in which I had soaked bread cubes. I moved the pan to the oven to bake until the liquid was absorbed. Tasty!
