As for most baking, this clearly is a recipe, but here goes:
To make blueberry banana muffins, beat 100 g vegetable oil with 100 g dark brown sugar, and a splash of vanilla. Add two eggs and beat until thick and glossy.

In a medium bowl, whisk together 125 g each of whole wheat and all/purpose flour with 1 teaspoon/5 ml of baking soda, a pinch of salt, several good dashes of cinnamon, and a pinch each of ground nutmeg and cloves.
Mash 4 ripe bananas/2 cups.

Beat half of the bananas into the wet ingredients; fold in half of the dry ingredients, followed by the other half of the bananas, finishing with the rest of the dry ingredients.

Gently fold in a heaping cup of blueberries and a large handful of chopped toasted nuts.

Bake in paper-lined muffin tins at 400° for 15 minutes; turn the heat down to 350° and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes.

This gives them nicely domed tops. ;o)

I usually divide the batter between a muffin tin and one or two mini-loaf pans. This recipe makes 4 mini-loaves or 12 muffins.
