Ali Slagle's jammin! She used Christine Ferber's method of simmering fruit with sugar and acid for just a minute, then macerating the mixture overnight. She drained the syrup from the fruit, reduced the syrup, and then added the fruit so it kept some bite. She used peeled nectarines and peaches, and is ready to try cherry jam next.
