First batch of garden pesto ready for the freezer. I do the freezer bag technique rather than the ice cube tray-just break off a corner.

I press it flat in a freezer bag (the oil keeps workable) just plunk off a junk when need be.'m

I had too much wine when I replied lol. What I meant to say is the oil keeps the block of pesto from freezing into a hard block. I just break off a piece and add it to soups, sauces or thaw and spread on bread ?
