MinimalistBaker's sunflower butter! ?? in a food processor, blend 3 cups of unsalted roasted sunflower seeds on high. resist any temptation to add liquid of any kind; around 6-7 minutes, something magical happens, and the grainy chunks transform into butter. add salt (I went with 1/2 tsp.), and 1 tbsp. each of flaxseed meal, chia seeds, raw shelled hemp seeds, unsalted pumpkin seeds.
makes 1 full pint and stores in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks at room temperature, 1 month in the refrigerator!
