Quick pickled onion, garlic, and jalapeño

Thinly slice jalapeños (deseeded if you are adverse to heat) garlic, and red onion, submerge in Pickling liquid of 1 part apple cider vinegar to two parts water 1.5 tsp kosher salt, 3Tbsp sugar. Let it sit out for at least an hour prior to serving. Can be made the night before and allowed to pickle in the fridge.

1/2 large red onion thinly sliced
3/4 cup apple cider vinegar (I had unfiltered on hand)
1.5 cups water
1 3/4 tsp kosher salt
11 tsp sugar
