Intimidated by the idea of making sushi rolls? Follow Jessicamicha's lead and make sushi balls (Temari sushi) instead--no special equipment required! Here's how she does it:
"Make seasoned sushi rice. Prep toppings (I used thin slices of sashimi grade fish, avocado, radish, carrot, lemon, cucumber, green onion and nori strips). Place a small amount of toppings onto a sheet of plastic wrap, and top with about 1 tablespoon of the seasoned rice. Twist and squeeze into a ball shape and continue until you've used up all your toppings and rice."
