Inspired by @christinetosi cereal milk ice cream I made granola milk ice cream, homemade granola, whole milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, pinch of salt, cornstarch. Soak granola in equal parts milk and cream over night, strain and cook with cornstarch and brown sugar. Chill in fridge or ice bath and process according to manufacturers direction in the ice cream maker.

What do you do with the strained out soggy granola? Crisp it back up for a topping? Add it to the ice cream maker at the end? Use it in muffins?

I like your idea of using in muffins. I heated it and ate as warm breakfast cereal. It his was the first time I've made this and haven't really thought about the soggy granola. I would never throw it away and also think any of your suggestions would be good. Adding to pancakes or waffles would be good as well. Thanks for giving me something to think about😃
