Once I tried making pesto with kale and sunflower seeds.
It was terrible. As in I threw it directly in the trash terrible.
However when we bought some organic carrots with all their leafy greens I decided to try the pesto route again. I fully expected an inedible mess, but it was delicious. (Especially slathered on top of ricotta toast.)

Blend, slather, eat! Repeat as necessary.
