Dill pickles

2 lbs pickling cucumbers
1 large bunch dill

5 cups water
2 1/2 cups distilled vinegar
5 T kosher salt
5 t sugar
5 t peppercorns

Cut small slice off end of each cucumber. Put about 10 sprigs dill in a 32 oz mason jar. Fill with cucumbers. Repeat until cucumbers & dill have been evenly dispersed among jars.

Bring brine ingredients to a boil. Fill jars with brine. Allow to cool, place kids on jars & refrigerate.
