Hot Dog Bun French Toast
Leftover buns make great breakfast! For 4 buns, lay buns flat, cut side down. Trim the top crusts with a serrated knife.
In a shallow pie plate, beat 2 large eggs, two glugs of cream, a pinch of salt, a 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg.
Melt some butter in a pan over medium heat. Dip one bun in the egg mixture for a few seconds each side. Cook for a few minutes per side.
Shmear with softened butter and drizzle with maple syrup. Yum!
