Just when we were vowing never to let summer end, Laura Albanese slapped this roasty, toasty goodness on the table: curry spice roasted carrots (we'd bake them, oil and spice-slicked till crinkly) topped with chickpeas and sliced avocado on a bed of arugula. Drizzle it all over with a citrus vinaigrette—perhaps lemon juice, Dijon, a bit of minced garlic, and olive oil run through a food processor—because the sun is still shining. We see you, oven season!

Hi Elena, most of the time there actually aren't true recipes to follow. The idea is to capture the off-the-cuff cooking that we all do everyday with enough of a description that you could replicate something similar yourself or inspire you to take an idea and give it your own twist.
