Gyoza or pork dumplings. Filling has ground pork, garlic chives, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, sake, shiitake mushrooms, green cabbage, white pepper, round wonton wrappers.
Heat sesame oil in a hot fry pan. Crowd dumplings in the pan. Allow them to sizzle & let the wrappers bubble with juices from the filling. Check one of the outer dumplings, if the skin has turned golden brown, add some water to pan, & cover with a lid. Steam dumplings for another 3 minutes. Flip them with a spatula & serve golden side up.
