Homemade meatball subs. Made a lot of tomato sauce this summer..so used that, a can or jar of sauce is fine. Meatballs..1 lb ground beef, 1 egg, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan Romano cheese and Italian bread crumbs about 1/2 cup or more if needed. Roll into balls. Add a small tab of butter on top of each ball, bake 350 for 20 min. then add to sauce. I use provolone cheese. I slice a French baguette and toast with garlic butter then add the stuff, wrap in foil and bake 10 min more until cheese is melted. Family fav.
