This is quite possible the best thing I've ever made. I tried to recreate the amazing NOLA BBQ shrimp tartine I had at Willa Jeans in New Orleans- and I think I nailed it. I give you, shrimp, crawfish and buratta pizza
I used the pizza dough recipe from the PPK's "vegan with a vengeance". Then I made roux. When it was a deep caramel colour, I added Worcestershire sauce, then the shrimp and crawfish. Added some garlic, smoked paprika, a pinch of thyme, and a hearty dose of Tabasco. I smothered the crust with this then smoothed buratta over the top.
Baked about 15 minutes in the hottest my oven would go.
