No, it really isn't a recipe, but it is related to my "recipe" for peace of mind during Thanksgiving week which I posted today on Food52. The basic idea - one that I shared in an article that I wrote for Food52 3 years ago - is that your advance prep for Thanksgiving really should include the dinners during the week or so immediately before Thanksgiving, when you will be occupied with various prep activities that really can only be done then. I plan my meals for that week to come primarily from the freezer; of course, they are not going to get there on their own, so I plan now numerous meals that I will make in double batches, and serve over the next week or so; then, during Thanksgiving week, I'll serve the rest, from the freezer. The image above is my tentative menu plan for November 1 through November 27. I'll fill out the rest of the month in due course over the next few weeks.
