Soak the golden gram or dhall overnight in a bowl of tap water, drain, put into food processor, add in chopped onion, green fresh Chilli, some curry leaves, salt and pepper to taste, add little water, blend, to mix all ingredients, not to fully blend, coarse , heat the frying pan, press them into round paste, fried till golden crispy
