not your ordinary batch of waffles!
i began cultivating my very first sourdough starter this past week, so naturally, i've been obsessed with finding ways to use the discard each time i feed my new baby. the first discard was turned into amazing garlic-rosemary sourdough crackers. today's second discard gave birth to these utterly perfect waffles. crispy on the outside, velvety soft on the inside, and so flavorful. DO IT. MAKE THEM.
recipe in the link below. i used olive oil instead of vegetable oil/butter. otherwise, i followed the recipe to the letter.
