Creton à l'ancienne / Old fashioned creton
Amazing on toasts!
1lb of minced pork
1 1/3 cup of milk
1 cup of breadcrumbs
salt and pepper (taste for quantity)
garlic and/or garlic salt ( taste for quantity)
ground nutmegs (taste for quantity)
Mix the pork, milk, breadcrumbs, salt and chopped garlic in a pan, cover, heat on low heat for an hour stirring from time to time (every ~15 minutes...). Once done, season to taste with what you like. I love nutmegs but cinamon is tasty as well, you can add clove as well if you like. Experiment with the seasonings. Refrigerate then try on some toasts.
