A little something that cooks itself. For days when the toddler doesn't sleep and the preschooler is climbing the walls. Lamb shoulder pieces baked with onion, tomatoes, potatoes, rosemary, parsley, cilantro, crushed garlic, and grated ginger. Put salt, pepper, turmeric, cumin, cinnamon and paprika in a glass cup. Add a cup of water then pour in a few saffron threads soaked in lemon juice and drench the lamb in that mix. Sometimes I do it twice depending on how much liquid I want. Bake @375 for about 60 min or more turning half way.
