Crunchy and colorful, bitter and sweet winter salad with a few greens on the bottom, thin-sliced fennel, shredded carrot and match-sticked watermelon radish in the middle, and a fire-roasted green pepper and slivered shallot on top. Sprinkled with maple-nut granola and drizzled with olive oil, cider vinegar and maple syrup to dress it up. Crunchy salt and pepper to finish and a Charlie-Brown flat egg and baby Perail to accompany.
