Miso Pain Perdu
Make a batter with 2 eggs, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1 tablespoon miso (I used yellow), 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon ground allspice.
Set a non-stick skillet over medium heat with 1-2 tablespoons of butter. Once the butter has melted, dip your bread slices (brioche in my case) into the batter, and then place into the skillet, browning on each side. Top with powdered sugar and syrup or honey (I used Poirier's Cane Syrup).
