Farro bean soup

made with bacon instead of ham hock. I toasted the farro in the bacon fat. I used two specialty beans, one speckled and one red.

Pulled from my freezer on this cold winter morning in Montana for breakfast- and mixed with some leftover cabbage soup (recipe by Moosewood)
